Product Brief:

The isolator module is a product for interfacing with an addressable fire alarm control panel placed at intervals in the loop. When a short circuit occurs at the output of the short circuit isolator in the bus circuit, the isolator module will disconnect all equipment connected to its output. After the short circuit fault is cleared, the isolator module can automatically reconnect the isolated section of the loop to restore power and data, helping to confirm the location where the short circuit occurred. This ensures that only the section between isolators will be affected in the event of a short circuit. The maximum number of equipment between isolators is 32. The isolator module is recommended to be installed in electrical wells or in modular boxes in fire compartments.
